The origin
It started with a really bad spreadsheet.
In early 2023, Rafay was deep in a consulting project — trying to explain to a brand why their YouTube growth had plateaued while a smaller competitor was surging. The answer was buried somewhere in channel stats, Reddit threads, and comment sections across six different tools.
He called Maaz. "This is ridiculous. YouTube shows the numbers but not the why. Reddit shows the why but none of the numbers. Someone needs to build a single lens."
Maaz didn't argue. He opened his laptop. A weekend later, there was a rough prototype. It was raw, barely held together, and they couldn't stop using it.
Two years of iteration later, that rough weekend build became SocialAnalyticsHub.
The Frustration Begins
Rafay is deep in a consulting project, manually pulling YouTube metrics and Reddit threads into spreadsheets. Six tools open. Still missing the full picture. He texts Maaz: "There has to be a better way."
First Prototype
Maaz builds a rough proof-of-concept over a long weekend — a single dashboard that pulls YouTube channel stats and Reddit community sentiment. It's ugly. It works. They're hooked.
Going Deeper
Six months of iteration on YouTube dashboards: KPIs, performance charts, insights, filters, and a search-first flow. AI briefings and Reddit are planned next.
Private Beta
Early users across creators, marketers, and founders. Feedback shapes the live YouTube product and the Reddit and AI roadmap.
Public Launch
SocialAnalyticsHub launches at socialanalyticshub.app — public YouTube channel analytics, no login required.
The team
Meet the founders.
Two people who refused to accept that audience intelligence had to be painful.
Rafay Qureshi
Founder & CEO
Rafay founded SocialAnalyticsHub after years of consulting on audience and channel research. The goal was a single search box for public YouTube data — fast KPIs and charts without exporting to spreadsheets. Reddit and AI summaries are on the roadmap.
Maaz Sohail
Co-Founder & CTO
Maaz leads engineering for SocialAnalyticsHub. He built the first working prototype and now architects the frontend dashboards, API integration, and the analytics layer that runs in the browser after each search.
What we stand for
Principles that shape every decision.
Clarity over noise
We cut through social data clutter to surface only what matters — insights you can act on, not charts that impress no one.
Public data, private respect
We work exclusively with publicly available data. We never harvest personal information, track users, or sell data to third parties.
Speed as a feature
Intelligence delayed is intelligence wasted. We engineer for results in seconds, not export queues that land in your inbox two days later.
Built for real people
Not for enterprise committees. Not for data science teams. For the creator, the founder, the researcher working solo who needs answers now.
